I ordered Starz Multiplex premium package. At that time the agent offered me HBO multiplex free for a month. I declined at that time the HBO multiplex.
It turns out the agent went against my wishes and added the HBO package anyway I found out later surfing the channels.
I called up Oceanic to get to the bottom this. Evidently I have to call them to cancel the HBO after a month or it won't be free.
I'm a bit perturbed by this as you can see., mainly because they added channels when I explicitly declined it. |

I was under the impression that Time Warner Cable as a whole offered the "30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee", meaning you can call in anytime within 30 days if you're not satisfied with one of your services and cancel it without obligation to pay. Maybe Oceanic does not participate in this, or my impression of the guarantee is incorrect. |

1 edit | I made a mistake. I meant to say it won't be free after 30 days. I have to call after 30 days to cancel or it will continue on. Its not a question about it being free or not. I'm pissed that they added HBO package even though I declined it when I added Starz Multiplex. |

1 edit | I can recall in the past, and I've seen it with other people, that they give you a lot of channels you don't ask for, just so you can see what's on (and that you'd be missing). Granted, there's absolutely no charge and no need to call later to cancel.
Just call them NOW and be done with it... |
