| Linksys EPSX3 v2 print server & USB printer?
My Wife recently received a Linksys EPSX3 version 2 print server from work in a swap. We would like to add it to our home network, which also consists of the following:
Linksys BEFSR41 Router
Linksys BEFW11S4 Router + 802.11B AP
and
Linksys BEFCMU10 Cable modem
I was able to use the web based interface to setup an IP address and it seems to be functioning properly but the printers we have are all currently USB not parallel.
Therefore my question is the seemingly odd one of:
Is there a way to setup USB printers on the Linksys EPSX3 print server’s parallel interfaces?
I have heard of parallel-to-USB cables but not USB-to-parallel cables,…
Any help would be greatly appreciated,…

| Pretty sure thats not gonna work. Even if there is a USB to parallel converter I am not sure if the print server itself would be able to recognize the USB printer.
I could be wrong though, however I have never seen this type of setup in existance in the past. |

I guess I’ll have to dust off my old HP 540,…..that’s should work on the EPSX3,…
I’ll just have to network the USB printers the old fashion way,… |
