I believe the BEFSR41v3 only has a 10MB WAN port. Thus if you were to order the 15MB/2MB package, you'd never get full speeds.

As far as if you have to use their router, I'm not sure. There were some people a few months back talking about trying to use WRT54G/WRT54GS's but were running into problems.

Bronx, NY		 The BEFSR41 does have a 10/100 WAN port. The older models sported the 10Mbps WAN port.
