The only thing that comes close to Skypilot's price range is »www.qorvus.com/ ... their gear is also priced steeply ($1000 for a mini-itx?). However, you can build yours and add thier $100 OS ("qCode" -- LocustWorld hybrid) to run the mesh.
Haven't used it, but hear good reviews about it. |

| polk5,
What is your experience with qCode so far? Hope it's not only a web-enhanced LocustWorld. Are there system improvements worth it and is there any talk about multi-radio/802.11a support? MeshDynamics speaks bad about single radio mesh.
My cuurent architecture is: multi-radio (CM9/200wM senao) in: (CM9 ptmp 5.8 backhaul) and (2.4 AP)... this I believe defeats the 1/2-factor of single radio mesh. testing WRAP + Star-OS in this setup. |
