I found Cyberstation (or CST for short) here on DSL Reports. We have several properties around Texas that we manage, and needed a provider for 23 locations. Overall the experience has been very good, but not perfect. Out of the 23 orders placed several were out of range for DSL, on these Cyberstation was able to provide an ISDN solution (though it is more expensive and we have to pay a separate charge for the ISDN line). On some others the availability check showed we were OK for ADSL Share but later we found out we had to change to order to ADSL Link, SDSL, or IDSL to complete the order, which was a bit frustrating and delayed the start of service. However other ISP's we have dealt with have had the same sort of problems, and in fact we have been very happy with the care and responsiveness of CST personnel - they truly go the extra mile for you. We have had a few problems with IP Communications, such as poor quality wiring jobs or scheduling delays. However that is balanced by the willingness of Cyberstation staff to get involved in solving on-site LAN problems which, in our experience, is unusual - most providers refused to touch our LAN's. We don't have a big IT department so this was a big help to us - it wasn't free but it was reasonable as opposed to Bell who would want outrageous money to work on our internal problems. Overall from start to finish our 23 orders were all up and going in a little over 2 months. This is better than some ISP's we have worked with in other areas, but slower than we would like. Speeds are good, and the connections are solid. One of the things I really like about CST is every staff member is technically oriented and overall they seem to know the technology inside and out, even including the technology in our on-site LAN's. The owner and officers of the company seem willing to personally get involved and make sure that every problem is resolved, and we like that. They respond quickly to our requests for information and help, however they seem to respond more quickly to email than to any other methods, if you use these guys get comfortable mailing help@cst.net - they always got back to us quickly using that method. We needed static IP numbers and routable subnets, and CST provided these with very little extra charge, that was another big help. Overall, very good service. I think this is one of the companies that is going to make it, if the motivation and hard work of their owner and staff is any indication. I would recommend them and we WILL use them again.
