| So where's the proof...
...that this is actually happening anywhere? All I see is people who evidently can't properly set up the equipment on their end, can't configure their $29 router to pass the proper ports, or just plain old Bad Service from the VoIP provider. Where is the howling outrage of thousands of now-cut-off Vonage (for example) subscribers? We have a wildly popular VoIP forum here. A quick scan through that shows nothing even remotely approaching any organized conspiracy to block VoIP ports.
Maybe the FCC is "silent" because it's all just a hoax.
If anything, this un-story is more wishful thinking by incumbent-hating journalist wannabes. Grow up. This place is getting worse than the 'blogosphere'. Just because it's posted as "news" here does not make it true. -- The revolution will not go better with Coke. |
