I just left DISH. Horrible Horrible service. They couldn't get the service to work right after 4 months, and they had no clue why it was. I'm not a big Charter fan and had hoped Dish would be a cheaper alternative, but 4 months of service outages, voice sync issues, general incompetence, and long waits on the phone sent me back to cable. At least for the next year Charter's giving me a $25 a month credit to "buy back my Dish", so my bill for a year anyway. I really wanted Dish to work, but their subcontracts are not properly training and their are MAJOR communication issues within that company between the folks on the phone and the installers. | |  BosstonesOwn

The reason is that they are contractors and not direct installers that work for dishnetwork themselves.
