I just left DISH. Horrible Horrible service. They couldn't get the service to work right after 4 months, and they had no clue why it was. I'm not a big Charter fan and had hoped Dish would be a cheaper alternative, but 4 months of service outages, voice sync issues, general incompetence, and long waits on the phone sent me back to cable. At least for the next year Charter's giving me a $25 a month credit to "buy back my Dish", so my bill for a year anyway. I really wanted Dish to work, but their subcontracts are not properly training and their are MAJOR communication issues within that company between the folks on the phone and the installers. | |

The reason is that they are contractors and not direct installers that work for dishnetwork themselves. That in itself is the reason why one doesn't know what the other is doing.
