Re: [Monitoring] Samurize plugin for Alchemy

I notice that this plugin was meant for Sveasoft. Will it work with stock Linksys firmware or hyperwrt as well? It looks fantastic!

Once again I have updated my Samurize to show more data. This time it shows total amount of data transfered via VLAN1. (or the WAN port in this case) I'm lovin it!
Sorry to bring this back from the dead but how did you monitor total amount of bandwidth usage (data transferred) for your WAN port?

You could run DD-WRT and create a dyndns account then enable the sysinfo page and you can see all your router information any where you go..

Just wanted to see if I could essentially monitor the line from somewhere, say, like at work, for instance. I probably wouldn't need all of the stats, but maybe the router load and just to know that the connection is still running.

Ok, I just noticed that under where it says Select function to run: it doesn't have anything that looks like router load. Is that all that's missing?

Other than that, I have SNMP enabled on my router, and it's a v2.0 router, so I would assume it's the same OID as the default? Everything else works fine with the default OID, so I'm assuming that's ok. Thanks for your help.

Forgive me if this is something obvious...

I have everything working fine, and it's really cool, except the router load only displays a % with no number there. I can't seem to get that to display the router load. What should I change? I've put in the correct IP address of the router, and the password, and have LoadAlchemyStatus running as well as LoadAlchemyWireless. What am i missing? Thanks!
Do you have SNMP enabled on the router? Your router might have a different OID for the router load?

gi suck, how can I get your monitoring window?

Is there a way to do this remotely? (i.e outside the private LAN from the WAN side)

Would you have to forward the SNMP ports or something like that?

Sox
Which of the stats would you like to monitor?

I had the same thing but when I found out it only goes up to 4gb then flips over I took it off.
Damnit! I guess it exceeded the bit limit! Just noticed that now! oh well, live and learn!

You were right, I hadn't modified the password that the "Load" meters were using to get their data.
Please explain how to change the password. Darned it I can find it!
Go into the .ini file and look for this:

quote:
[Source 22]
Type=TActiveDLLCollector

Or you could just open the Samurize config tool and edit the meter the easy way
That'd be too easy :p

The other ones will use the SNMP string.
