said by Skyrunner8 :You might have to turn on remote management, and add the port, but I *think* it should work that way. Remote Management is only used if you want to access your router from the WAN. Not LAN. |

| I've got my router @ 192.168.2.1 and my default password changed to let's say 'password'. DO I need to enable the syslogd or is this done through SNMP, and if SNMP where do I load my SNMP details where the Name has been modified...
Thanks looking forward to using this... |

No, you don't need to enable Syslogd. |

| I have 16 people in my house (I go to college). Its amazing that there is that little right now. I just set it up to be red if the WAN Rx is over 325 KB/s and WAN TX is over 50, to be helpful. The Graph is now working well, and I am loving it. Anybody else mess with it and get their own setup? -- -Jeff |

 My refined layout! |
I refined the layout a bit so that you can see both WLAN transfer bars, and also included CPU load for 1 min, 5 mins and 10 mins!
What do you think? |

| reply to digiblur Hrmm.. I'm having the problem where it kills the routers web-interface.
I've changed the update interval, as suggested, but it still won't work.
Do I need to restart the router? -- The new Secure-Wifi.net is open!

| reply to digiblur I've been monitoring my WRT54G via SNMP for about 3-4 months now and I've never experienced the 100% thing.
To revive the httpd use telnet to do the following:
killall httpd /usr/sbin/httpd -d /www
I told Sveasoft about it and hopefully one of the dev team members can recreate the error. I found out it is the LoadAlchemyStatus meter that causes this.
Does anyone see a need for another Linksys model monitoring? -- FWD#64466(6PM-11PM GMT-5) »[Sipura] Make your Sipura Speak! - Step by Step »[Monitoring] Samurize plugin for Alchemy Drop me a PM if you'd like a custom Samurize plugin for your device. |

| I am having somewhat of a different problem. Ever since I started, my router will go into what I call hiding mode. It wont' give out any other DHCP addresses, the wireless in the status page says Channel 0, and all the DHCP info that it picked up for the WAN is gone. I tried disabling SNMP but it still seems to do it. Any ideas anybody? -- -Jeff |

| said by digiblur :7. Do not be alarmed when the MACID is shown as the wireless client ID. This is due to the way I coded the DHCP matching engine to keep the number of HTTP pulls down. Once the plugin finds a MAC ID displayed, a flag is set to pull the DHCP table during the next update. At the next update the MAC ID will change to the host name provided in the DHCP table. The DHCP table is only pulled when needed this way. If LoadAlchemyDHCP is used, the MAC ID's will only be converted to the hostname when the LoadAlchemyDHCP meter is pulled. -- FWD#64466(6PM-11PM GMT-5) »[Sipura] Make your Sipura Speak! - Step by Step »[Monitoring] Samurize plugin for Alchemy Drop me a PM if you'd like a custom Samurize plugin for your device. |
