Makes the Averatech brand? Someone posted this on another board, and a user bought an Averatech based on that comment.

| reply to aliasrlz Taiwan and Korea are the only players designing notebooks. Japanese manufacturers such Sony and Toshiba still do some in-house design, but they're feeling the pressure. Fujitsu Siemens as well. Samsung, LGE and TriGem are Korean and do ODMs for other brands.
