Sunrocket just updated the look of its website. Haven't been able to login to my account yet.
Also looks like unlimited to Canada is now advertised. |

Same basic design, just different colors and graphics,
I just wish my Vonage #'s would port to them. |

| reply to lowballer They not only now list Canada as being in the calling package. But if you go to signup and you enter a promotion code it tells you what the promotion code is getting you (actually it doesn't but it shows for a limited time if you sign up now you will get the phones), if you don't enter a promo code no indication of phones.
Not a major change but very nice because you know it has taken the promo code. I doubt it will be anytime soon but the day they add Toronto area codes, I think I will be holding a celebration. |

I can get to it for my signature number, but not my main household number. Very strange. |

| reply to lowballer My Uniden handset is flashing. Could this be voicemail notification? So for the first time, I dialed 00 - I had never done it before because I only learn of voicemail via email and thus listen to it over the computer. But once I dialed, I got all wrapped up in initializing my voice mail. Is there some way to set all these options from the web? It's a hassle over the phone. I was pretty surprised how many options there were. ("Do you want to listen to calls, in the order received or reverse?" and so on.) |

| reply to lowballer The new online LNP request doesn't seem to work. I was going to submit my reqest today by fax, when I noticed this new feature online. After filling out all the info and clicking "submit" on the last page, it just gives me "error 404". Tried it 3 times - don't know if it went through at least once. So I just ended up faxing my LNP request form. Unfortunately, they removed all references to this form from their site, as well as fax number to send the request to, so I don't really know now if my fax submission is sucessful either Well, I guess I'll wait a couple days for confirmation email, and will try the web site feature again if it doesn't come.
And one more thing... If I want my number LISTED, for some reason I have just 15 characters to use for my name for white pages listing. Why is that? My name is longer, and it always has been printed in my local white pages in full - with no 15 characters limitation. I understand that for Caller ID Name it has to be limited by 15 letters, but why for white pages?? |

| My stutter dialtone along with the new call light flashing started working this morning. The problem is I don't have any new messages and can't get the stutter tone to go away , how I can fix this? I tried leaving a message from another phone then deleting the message and even deleted the voicemail account and setup a new voicemail account with no luck...Thanks! |

What do you mean by "Listed" - in the past, we've come to associate ILECs with maintaining free "white pages" but I'd bet those days are over. In my area, there are two competitive companies producing directories and I wouldn't be surprised if they have different requirements and fees that impact that way other companies like SR pass things along.
Now that you mention it, I'm not even sure what SR's policy is on listing subscriber phone numbers. Do they automaticallly list numbers by default? Or is it like cellular where numbers are never listed? |

Nice new look! They got the call duration working! And if stutter tone is working that's impressive too!
I wonder if they got the Caller ID issue fixed! Then I'd be all set! |
