Gee I though a market based economy eschews government intervention.

If advertisers want to support porn because customers want it shouldn't they be allowed to do whatever sells?

Isn't this an unlawful taking, diminishing the value of private property by big government? I would have though Conservatives would be outraged at government interference.

Porn is only part of the issue. The other part is the use of language, pictures, and ideas, that are offensive to some people. For example, the inability to use the word "fuck" during primetime meant that over-the-air networks couldn't literally report what Cheney said last year on the floor of the Senate.
