When they can prove it's reliability AND use routers and switched dedicated to ONLY VoIP and not shared with internet traffic, then I may think about switching. Time Warner don't share there DP with internet Traffic at all. There system works great Yeah and every time your cable goes out, so will your VOIP. Those little generators they have to give you cable service will not last nearly as long as the ones in a Central Office. Oh I'm going to laugh at so many people God-forbid there is a nationwide emergency. If there is a national emergency, I will guarantee two things...people will be asked to stay off the phone, and you'll get lots of "All circuits are busy" because to one listened!
So go ahead and laugh. You won't be doing it over a land line. -- The goal of the broadcast engineer is to get all the meters on the transmitter to go as far to the right as possible!! |
