| Still no hostname! When SBC changed the IP block I'm on here in South Bend (probably in December) I noticed that I no longer had a hostname like adsl-xx-xx-xx-xx.sbndin.sbcglobal.net. I then noticed that many FServe transfers on IRC were timing out, before the change this did not happen on identical transfers. I was told that I'd probably get one within 2 weeks but it still has not happened. Any ideas? Is this really the problem with IRC? Thanks. | |

| Re: Still no hostname! I have the same problem occasionally in southeast michigan. Here are the first three octets from ip addresses with no rdns that I've had in the last 3 months:
68.249.236.x 68.249.237.x 69.212.30.x 69.212.31.x 69.212.172.x 69.212.173.x
Can you fix them, too?
Thanks | |
