Re: HDTV Sound Cuts in and Out

Same problem here. Know others with the same problem. Comcast has not corrected the problem. I plan on switching to Direct TV. Comcast customer service: Sucks

I have a Comcast Dual Tuner DVR/HDTV receiver.

Sometimes the sound portion cuts in and out for fractions of a second. Very infrequent but trying to rule out the problem as a TV or Comcast issue.

The TV is a 32" Sharp Aquos and I have not noticed the problem on the XBOX or DVD connection.

Connection to TV (no surround or audio tuner output)
a) DVR/HDTV - DVI and RCA/mini to TV
b) XBOX - XBOX/component to TV
c) DVD - Component to TV
