Thanks for dropping by. I have set the Wireless Network Mode to G only. Is there anything I should look at in the Advanced Wireless settings? They are all set to default.
Wish I could tell you, I don't have that model. I can point you to the linksys forum here: »Linksys
They can probably help you tweak it up to full speed.

A simple thing to test is the copy speed between two wireless clients, or a wireless client and a local wired client. In all these cases, for a G network you should be seeing well above 10mbit/sec - maybe as high as 20-22mbit/sec depending on signal strength. I use 802.11a for high-speed wireless and get 28-32mbit/sec inside my local network (turbo mode) with it, and 3-4mbit/sec on my backup 802.11b wireless network.

If your local copy throughput is also in the 3-4mbit range, then you've got some config issue with the linksys, or you have some 802.11b device on your network, or it's just plain not working right and is falling back to 802.11b speeds.

Do check over in the linksys forum, and good luck!
