Hmmm..

Tracks various usage statistics, then relays them back to the mothership?

No pop-up window asking you if you want that info going out? No user interface to make it verbose? No uninstaller?

Sound a hell of a lot like spying to me.

Actually, it sounds more like sh*tware to me.
