I posted this to that forum and did not get much other then asking if I broadcast SSIDs.

On the local network I get 20 megs with no problem.

Ah, see, that is interesting. Then it could be the MTU Size - try setting it slightly lower then 1500, (1480, or 1460) on the wireless router to see if that helps. Because you're getting correct wireless speeds when not going out to the internet.
