Mine is doing that too, haven't found much of a reason why yet. It would be best to get as much detail though.

I notice mine on three of my WRT54G running any firmware Sveasoft Alchemy rc6a, HyperWRT 2.1b, and the latest Linksys. I am running the Intel 9.0.1.9 driver and XP SP2. This also happens when I disable WZC and use the Intel Client Manager.

In XP you don't need to reboot to fix it, you just need to right click on the connection and choose repair. Usually fixes it for a longer period of time.
