| [CATV] Re: Charter Remote Control
I lost the user guide for this remote and charter keeps saying its the same as the All touch 2000 but it is NOT and I can't program my tv, vcr, or anything now. Can someone tell me how to program it or what model it is. Thanks |

| reply to dslhater Yeah I see what you mean about the buttons. D@M^! Well I'm all shot out of ideas. I can't believe that their site doesn't have this information available. Especially since I now see that they use this exact remotes image in various background throughout their site.
Sorry I can't be of more help. Maybe some helpful Charter employee will enlighten us perplexed customers with the needed info. -- "Sir SIR! We don't use DHCP servers. We only use IBM & Microsoft servers." From there my call to tech support went steadily downhill. |

| Press SELECT + MUTE.
The top buttons will start flashing - let go when it reaches the desired item you want to program.
Press (or just hold) CH UP until the device in question powers up/down. If you go too far, you can just hit chdown a few times.
Press SELECT to lock it in, and repeat with your other devices. |

| reply to dslhater if you can't get what MrBeetle said above(which should work), call back to customer service with that model number you listed above, and it shouldn't take but 5 minutes to find the exact instructions with codes to your tv/vcr/cable box -- Committment To Excellence |

| reply to dslhater OK.. First like should have read "PRESS AND HOLD FOR A FEW SECONDS" instead of press
Once you get into that flashy menu, you can either try what I said, or go to
»www.midcocomm.com/editable_conte···4DCT.pdf
I believe that those codes are the same... Just have to get into the "menu" first. |
