| PS2 laser is fried?
Hey guys, I've had my PS2 for 3 yrs now I think and my problem is that it doesnt read at all. i will put a disc in and it will spin once and nothing. The laser doesnt even shine. (I opened it) So, i'm guessing a got a fried laser here? I've been waiting for GT4 for the longest time and now that it's out I can't play it. BOOOOO. So, what now? I buy a new laser and get it installed? or take it in and have someone look at it and let them decide?

| I've had the same problem (sad about GT4 too) where t would say "reading disc..." once and then disapear! All I did was clean the laser with some achohol and a q-tip and it was reading disks fine. Hope it helps??

It doesn't read any disc. It will spin once and thats it.
