...charging too much...along with not enough promotion. I mean other than DSLR where will you see CallVantage talked about? I see Vonage commercials all the time. If they aren't going to advertise, that means they're only going to come across customers who are doing research into VoIP plans and if that's the case they're going to find their competitors like Broadvoice and Voicepulse to be as much as 30% cheaper with major competitors like Voicepulse and Vonage 15-20% cheaper. |

Lubbock, TX | I suppose its just the areas that they choose. In the DFW area I used to see their commercials all the time as well. I think its more of the fact of their customers being able to justifty the price for what features they offer. |

It took only 8.5 months for ATT to hit 50K subscribers.
Vonage took over 27 months to hit the 50K mark.

If they plan on keeping the momentum they're gonna have to get into the real deal of not limiting minutes in the fine print and/or cutting the price, it's called competition. I don't think AT&T charges to much. I get more features, long distance for less then I was paying for Qwest POTS with 3 features and no long distance. Who can complain about that. The call quality is great as well.
Were talking about $30 a month so even if I went with Vonage I'm only saving $5 a month. I pay a lot more than that for my cell phone (Cingular) and I get calls cut off, bad signal quality. So $30 a month for very clear calls at home is a deal. |

How many subs THIS PAST YEAR?
In Vonage's first year, there was no one else doing VoIP. The fact is that almost nobody had heard of it.
FF to 2004. Lots more people know about it. Who do they go with?
Using your logic, we should measure sales of Motorola cell phones in 1992 and compare it to the sales of Nokia cell phones in 2005 and use that logic to determine who is superior!
