I tried Keep Connection alive and dial on demand options on the linksys router. But I really can't tell if it does any good. The IP change still happens. Heck the IP changes anytime I click save on the Router for any changes. Why I had a feeling it might be the router.
I selected bridge mode so the Router would take control ofo the connection and didn't have to mess with upgrading the firm and stuff. But sounding like i don't have much of a choice.
Does that firmware work for the E240 and the E242?
Linksys is new from the store actually. Haven't used it yet..but i am quite familiar with them. |

Ottawa, ON | I have a LinkSys BEFSR41 /w software version 1.05.00. Absolutely no problems on my end. I have keepalive enabled with a max idle time of 60 seconds. Also, the MTU is set to 1492. Hope this helps. |
