Well I'm back.. I took a lil break to read Frankenstein and just installed Opera
The fresh system feels so nice, untouched.. untweaked, and is so responsive! |

2 edits | reply to illJazz I'm kind of late, but Belarc Advisor is also useful for this.
It is the free download here: »www.belarc.com/free_download.html
As well as your installed applications it lists "keys", userids, and fixes.
(Don't necessarily be worried if you see a product you don't remember installing. As well as the applications you know you installed, it also shows applications installed as part of other applications.) |

| reply to illJazz Don't get me wrong.. I knew about Everest.. but I never much cared for it cause it's shareware and it's the type of utility I wouldn't use too often. I'm glad I found out about that great free alternative with all those cool tools built-in! |

| reply to illJazz I had originally posted that I was surprised that you never saw Everest before but you were referring to Rxdoxx's post (not Everest). -- "I'm as sure as I can be... without any, you know, proof!" - Adrian Monk |

| reply to illJazz LOL...I realize what you meant now. We're only talking a silly list here...what ever floats your Boat.
In the time it took all of us to produce this thread, you could have performed a clean install and installed every Program available in the Northern Hemisphere by now.
(I always liked saving my "favorites" list in HTML). -- I had a life once.....now I have a Computer and a Modem. |

Everest will work just fine for your list. I just looked at mine. Pretty neat....I just looked at that "Wizard" again....you can do a "quick report" of ALL pages too. Cool! -- I had a life once.....now I have a Computer and a Modem. |

I didn't recall they even had a "Report Wizard".
What will they think of next? (Go with the HTML)
(Edit) BTW Rxdoxx , pretty cool program that "SIW" (Kind of like Everest on Steroids). -- I had a life once.....now I have a Computer and a Modem. |
