Re: Question About Panda IS

said by flyrfan111:
I just installed Panda Internet Security 8.05 on my computer again after not using it for a while. I was testing it out by running on demand scans and scheduled scans. When I ran an on demand scan, the GUI opened, showed the progress of the scan and when finished, it stayed open until I closed it. When the scheduled scan ran, the GUI opened, showed the progress of the scan, and when finished, the GUI closed on its own. I don't remember it doing it that way when I ran Panda before.

Any Panda people here that can confirm if this is the correct way for the scheduled scan to act?

Thanks

Yes that is correct. The GUI for a scheduled scan will only remain open for you to close if something was detected. The GUI for an on demand scan remains open because the program figures you were there to start it so you should also be there to close it.
Thanks flyerfan111.
