What would you do if you were Microsoft and wanted to take over the Anti-Spyware market? Well, you have a lot of money and you can do almost anything you want. How about discrediting the competition? Especially if the competition is so eager to go along with the scam: "What? You'll pay us how much to remove your program from detection list? Where do we sign?"
