:after my last test with network sniffing,
and since OOL continue being such dicks and want to break our internet,
tonight i talked with Nolar(one of Azureus developers), and he was kind enough to create a solution for us(and all other suffering souls)
»
azureus.sourceforge.net/index_CVS.php[02:30] [Nolar] it just doesnt set any bits to 1 in the first and last byte, and instead sends them via a Have
[02:33] [Nolar] normal seeding bitfield: 11111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111
[02:34] [Nolar] lazy seeding bitfield: 00000000111111111111111111111111111111100000000
[02:35] [Mxx] so i tell people that i don't have those parts?
[02:38] [Nolar] you tell them about those 0'd pieces via Have messages instead
[02:55] [Nolar]
B55 and onwards will be enable-able via »azureus.aelitis.com/wiki/index.p···eOptionsso use it, enjoy it and give

to OOL
if you prefer using any other BT client, ask developers to have this 'fix' implemented.
If this fix works as well as the one that I coded up, thats great that there is an "official" solution that will be available to all. Lets hope that OOL aren't acitively trying to block BT and that there will be no "counter measures" to this fix.
