I'm guessing that means 10mW per 1MHz. So you take a typical radio that uses 20MHz per channel and you can broadcast 200mW (which is the overall power limit).
So if you used a new Proxim Ruggedized set at 5Mhz channels you could only output 50mW from it on that setting. |

| I'm from india .The wireless regulation for 802.11a limits the MAx EIRP in indoor to 200mw and talks about EIRP density of 10 mw.
What is Mean EIRP DENSITY?
Regulation: Maximum mean Effective Isotropic Radiated Power of 200 mW and a maximum mean Effective Isotropic Radiated Power density of 10 mW/ MHz in any 1 MHz bandwidth
