I am looking for a treadmill but dont want to pay much(>$100). What are my options ?
I saw a few at walmart.com . THey are the manual ones
Any opinions on those ? |

| Your serious I assume..less than $100 and you get what you pay for which will be very little...try your local newspaper and see if you can find a good used one but I seriously doubt your budget is going to get you much. I have had treadmills to run on in the winter and for convenience for 14 years and my last cost $2700, but was well worth it. The problem I found to be the biggest issue was the running surface or tread band itself..they will expand and slip greatly in the cheaper models and are not adjustable thus you cannot control the lateral or side to side movement of that band. Seriously, you will need to spend at least $1000 for a good one , maybe a little less on sale but also try your local fitness stores as people look to sell used ones when they upgrade so you may well fall into a good deal. |
