are there any free programs out there to call from my PC and dail a house number and me talk to them through my mic or something, i have cable internet and was just wondering ifthere was anything i remember along time ago i had a program that let me do this. |

Read this post first. It may save you some aggravation. The provided link takes you to a very poor quality product that tends to drop calls and is infested with adware. It's really a waste of time. It costs money to route calls to the pstn and while there have been a few free trials, you are going to have a hard time finding a free product. Lots of low cost ones though or free pc-pc programs, e.g. skype.
