Strange DHCP Address.......

Can someone explain why in the heck my DHCP is picking up this WAN IP address?

Can you access the internet? If not, it's most likely the default ip some modems give when it doesn't have synch. That way you can still access the modem pages. ( »192.168.100.1 )

Stillman Valley, IL		 My cable modems had a small dhcp server in them to still access the modem logs. The modem has not acquired an address from the headend dhcp yet.

Yep... I think the connection went down a couple times.

My Sonicwall had problems probing the gateway a few times today, so there must have been some sort of temporary network issue.
