$25 credit for refering.

Remeber you get a $25 credit on your account when you refer someone to WOW!

Three conditions:
1. The person you refer stays with WOW! for at least 60 days
2. Both you and the person you refer stay in good standings during this time (Pay your bills on time!)
3. You ask for it. CSRs do not generally offer this to someone who says they were refered.

Better yet, save the CSR some trouble and sign-up for it online instead

Re: $50 credit for refering.

Does anyone know how long after registering on the website does it take for the referral email to get sent?

Then you should register so someone could IM you.
It is free to register here.

Its $25 for a referal, not fifty. And that's being so stingy.

Im not going to refer a friend for $25.

I bet that most new signup accounts generate at least $100 a month or $1200/year in revenue.

$25 is 2% of $1200. They should credit you a free month. I can't fill up my car on $25. I can't buy a carton of smokes for $25. What can you still get for $25. Oh I know...Vonage. hahhahahaha, now that's funny.

How about a free HD package for a few months instead? Cell phone companies will give you a free month of service(s) if you ask (like vision, power vision, text messaging). I'll have to wait a few months for 25 bucks, no problem but would have much rather have them give me free movies channels or HD for a while instead.

It still shows $50 here. It should be $25.

If you are interested in the credit most of the previous answers are correct. I am an independent sales rep for WOW! Normally, customers refer others to me specifically in an attempt to get their referred individual the best rate for the amount of time in the price guarantee. An extra 5-10 dollars off a month in retrospect to the one-time $25 dollar credit is more advantageous. If anyone would like a free quote in the Cleveland suburbs I would be happy to assess your situation and give you the best possible price that I can to win your business. If you are a current customer and are maybe thinking of adding a service or upgrading services I would be happy to answer any questions that you may have and give you another 2 year price guarantee. Just give me a call anytime between 10am-10pm eastern standard time and I will be happy to assist you: (216) 337-9876. I may also be contacted via e-mail at matt.bastian71@yahoo.com (Title the message 'WOW Customer Question/Inquiry').
