Yeah, I know.....but turning the monitor off is the easy way out! |

| reply to snowman I have a Sony CDP-E440 19" monitor, and I have my PC and monitor set to go into sleep mode.And have freedom set for auto updates.It does not wake anything up,but when I bring it out of sleep,I sometimes see the freedom update pop-up,right after PC wakes.Maybe you have your NIC set to"wake on Lan".Check BIOS and NIC settings. -- Arris CM450a Cable Modem - Standard HSI |
