| Moto 5100 docsdiag cant find modem
Hi all,
I used to use a Motorola 3100 surfboard modem and docsdiag used to find my modem and give me configuration details with no problems. I recently upgraded to a 5100 and now docsdiag says it cant find the modem even though the modem is reachable vis 192.168.100.1. Anyone know what the problem could be? |

Olympia, WA | My understanding is that Comcast disabled the SNMP protocol that docsdiag uses. |

It has nothing to do with the fact of the modem change.It has everything to do with the fact that docsdiag has been disabled for most if not all ex-attbi areas. |

In a dual boot setup with a Moto 5100, I can't get DOCSDIAG to work with WinXP Pro, even though it works perfectly with Win98. I'm ex-attbi by the way. |
