You really think ths is comcasts fault, let me see the issue begins with latency, and timeouts, then escalates into a fullblow outage. Making the DNS servers in accessible, needless to ask, what outside force could be taking down the servers?

Notice the uptime improvement when they upgraded to win2003 server. I think win2k server is too patched together to be affective as a critical service server and needs to be patched via upgrade to win2003. Out side influence indeed.

20 min reading logs on a *NIX box, 10 min patching software on a *NIX box, half a day recovering an MS workstations data after massive infection, priceless.
