Lavasoft will be Welcome to reapply for ASAP Membership once Ad-aware Personal support is reinstated and fully operational again.
Thanks for the information on the LS support forum link withdrawl from the ASAP homesite but the delisting was loss of ASAP membership as well and not only link removal to the currently disfunctional support forums as indicated.

having said that there has been some activity on the Lavasoftsupport webpage within the last 24hrs which might be a precursor to the return of the support forum's for the end user.

This would be the best outcome for the end user and consolidate the ASAP stance on looking after the end user's/those in need of help.

if this is the case then ASAP have helped the worm to turn and should be applauded and thanked by all.

As I wrote here: »ASW Vendors in La-La Land

The link to the Lavasoft Support Forums from ASAP was a "dead link". Since there is not a Lavasoft support site to list, there was no alternative but to remove the dead link.

Anyone needing help with Ad-Aware can find assistance at the sites listed in this post: »Lavasoft forum off-line?

It is, after all, those who need help that we are concerned with, not the politics or management.

Re: Lavasoft delisted from ASAP

It's a shame it has come down to this but Lavasoft need to see there is a problem with the direction they are taking.

I applaud ASAP's decision to delist them until such a time as they provide support for the free version.

it's a bitter pil to swallow when on one hand LS are asking for public volunteer's to improve their product and with the other hand are shutting down the support network for the free user's
