2 edits | Proof OK,
Here is definitive proof that I'm a dumbass. I say this for several reasons, mainly because I have asked this same question in the past - I have found the answers to that question - I still can't make it work.
I know that these files will burn into a DVD that I can watch on my stand-alone player. Furthermore, I have done this before. For some reason (probably because I'm a dumbass) I can't seem to get DVD Decrypter or Nero to create a playable DVD outta these files. Hell, I can't even get DVD Decrypter to read these files. It seems to only want to read DVD drives. I know there is a way to change this "mode", but I'm having not much joy in this area. In my own defense, it has been some time since I last used DVD Decrypter.
Would someone please remind me of how to get DVD Decrypter to read this file set and burn a playable DVD outta these files? I would surely appreciate it.
Thanks, -TC See, more proof: I forgot the attachment, Duh. -- "It's hard to leave when you can't find the door." - Joe Walsh

What in the world did you find objectionable to that? Long detailed description of his issue with a 'please' and 'appreciate' thrown in. And in fact, he said he did it once, so he was in need of reminding, not quite starting from scratch. I'd never used that software, otherwise I'd actually have a reply. if you do not have an ISO and instead have the files that comprise the DVD then use ImgToolBurn to burn the DVD

| You could use a program like IfoEdit »www.ifoedit.com to check to see if the video is done in PAL...Usually the computer will play PAL and NTSC DVD's but most stand alone players will not play PAL....My expensive RCA DVD recorder will not play PAL but my cheapo APEX 1500 will play anything I throw at it....

My expensive Sony DVD player will not play PAL movies for some stupid reason. But by using IfoEdit I can change every reference where it says PAL to NTSC. This ridiculously simple and quick (takes less than a minute) trick allows me to burn a PAL movie and makes my Sony think its NTSC and play it fine. Don't think this works with all players but it might be worth a shot. -- Spread Internet Explorer! - The browser you can trust to not have those annoying Firefox twits pushing it!

Don't think this works with all players but it might be worth a shot. Very true, and quite common info among the videophiles.... Samsung Players (some), as well as Sony, can be "tricked" into playing PAL DVDs by doing this quick edit with ifoedit..... Keep in mind though that the dvd player must inherently have PAL to NTSC decoding of some kind built-in, usually for SVCD or VCD. -- "Long-winded diatribes are not necessary for one-liner comments (regardless of THE POINT).
