i've written many times that we booted our verizon landline over 2 yrs ago; we use gsm national shared plan for all voice communications & comcast for the isp thing. i'd consider naked dsl not because i'm inherently displeased with comcast-------------actually, recent outages notwithstanding, the service is pretty snappy & reliable. however, we plainly need level field competition to have any semblance of interest on the consumer's behalf. if verizon can provide me w/ a product that equals in speed & matches or exceeds comcast's service, i'd consider it. until then, they get exactly zero of my consumer, discretionary dollars. bub |
