There is no damage to the hard disk it self it seems that it dose not have a drive letter but it will only let me format |

| reply to Anonymous_ Uhh, I am not an expert at this but... contrary to the advice you have received already... I would recommend that you
1. Make as few changes to the drive status as possible (ideally none)
2. Use any of the 5 or 10 proven hard drive recovery utils available for between $0-$200. Most of these programs have the ability to restore/rebuild broken, missing, corrupted hd partitions. I have seen it done and it is pretty amazing. |
