Too bad they don't offer it in my area , from what I understand it's not in alot of Insight area's. What I was told it cost about $500.00 per node to upgrade for the phone service and I was pretty much told not to hold my breath on seeing it in my area anytime soon. -- Broadcasting The Classic Hits 24/7 SauceMaster Radio!!!! |

| It would seem Insight may be rolling out "true" VOIP to most if not all areas soon.

| Yeah I just noticed on the local Insight community channel , they had a thing on there about some kinda of upgrades they are doing. Basically warning cable and internet maybe temp interupted and they were listing the area's they were working in each day. -- Broadcasting The Classic Hits 24/7 SauceMaster Radio!!!! |

| Is there a direct link to that thread? Or would it be easy to find on their site? Which heading is it under? That sounds like it might be worth a read.
I'm still holding to my original comments on this though. Insight would really have to come out hard and heavy with features and low pricing before I'd switch from my current provider. I highly doubt Insight would match the $19.95 pricing and features list of my current provider. If they charge what other cable providers are asking for VOIP. There is no way I'm going to switch. -- Test Your Security Cable DiagnosticsIggyz Blog ZoneAlarm Help |
