I am glad that this thread has not died. I think it's a shame to let any thread die for wont of some thinking.
As to nature hiding itself, that is truly correct. This tiny shot is the ass end of a wasp and as close to it as I was going to get, zoom or not. I don't know what it was doing but it was definitely hiding something in the ground. I watched it from a healthy distance until it flew away. What it hid is still very well covered by black dirt. |
