Very good friend of mine had a birthday get together at a new club in downtown Dallas, called Absinthe Lounge.

It was extremely dark in there, and I only had my kit lense with me (for ease of carrying). One thing I've noticed, is that I really really need to get that 50mm 1.4 USM.

They do sell a legal US version of absinthe - it takes like "good & plenty" though - and since I despise licorice, I didn't like it very much.

Nice shots for the lighting conditions with the kit lens. I like the one looking down the bar the best.

The real Absinthe is what it is all about ....Time to break in to my bottle again.
