Today Microsoft released the following Security Bulletin(s).

I got and installed the update. I did have to reboot, however... perhaps that was because I downloaded he update exe, or, what have you.
Nothing blowing up yet, here!

| I just logged on, and automatic updates alerted me that there is 1 update avaiable. It's being labled as "Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - May 2005 (KB890830)". Anyone else getting this instead of the 894320 update mentioned above? |

Thanks . if you're asking about the monthly malicious software tool, not needed if you regularly run and update a good AV program. this tool, mainly designed for the users out there who don't run such programs, detects a few of the more common nasties. it's a supplement to, not a substitute for, an AV, and is really very limited.
checkk tomorrow to see if there are any other updates for your OS...apparently none are for xp, for a change .
