|  [Cable TV] RCN Motorola 6412 Remote
Anyone find a .pdf instruction on the remote? It looks different than the Mot 6412 remote listed on their site...and the RCN manual that came with is pretty lacking. I auto-programmed the remote via the instructions on the back of it...but would like to screw around with it further (directly try codes, assign volume to TV instead of stereo by default...etc).

| No unfortunately those are all for the 6412 default remote. RCN packages a Synergy V remote. ...and initiating the programming is different. In fact I can't get it into program mode except the 'program all until something turns off' ridiculous mode. I can't pick a particular button to program (ie, cable)...which is mostly a problem because I have the damn mute bug!!

Anyone have insight on this synergy V remote? or a manual? |

| Great. BTW...from another post...here's how to eliminate the mute problem (and initiate programming modes):
- Press and hold CBL, then press and hold OK until CBL lights up.
- Press VOL + (the upper part of the VOL button).
_ Press and hold CBL. CBL should blink several times to indicate success.
If you repeat these instructions but end with the TV or AUD button, it'll put volume controls back to those components by default.
Having said all that...I'd love to see the programming sheet. I didn't get one, and the one on Mot's 6412 page isn't the right remote..
