Thanks  . if you're asking about the monthly malicious software tool, not needed if you regularly run and update a good AV program. this tool, mainly designed for the users out there who don't run such programs, detects a few of the more common nasties. it's a supplement to, not a substitute for, an AV, and is really very limited.
