Uh, kid, nobody's been paid. That's the proof.

| reply to xdeadhead have any of you signed up for netbux or a similar site, done your searches and not been paid or vise versa? otherwise it seems like i've read lots of posts from know-it-alls with no evidence either way. I personally don't have a problem trying these sites out for myself since i'm not spamming them and do my searches after i'm done at work. Also considering the fact that netbux has only been in existance for a few months and the heavy majority of its members are very recent i find it hard to believe that all these people who are absolutely sure it's a scam even ever had an account or at least earned enough in their first pay period to be paid considering the payout was untill a few days ago 50$ and you could not earn that your first month without lots of very productive refferals. You can't demand proof that they pay from others while claiming they do not pay with no proof. |

| reply to xdeadhead You wanna know what I find is the biggest problem with this sort of thing...people who are stupid enough to a) use the same email address and b) the same password to sign-up with NetBux as are the ones registered to PayPal. Just asking for fraud if you ask me. |

Yeah, I did research it. I couldn't find anything until I was about 5 dollars into it (then for some reason I was able to find scam reporting sites where something other than "SCAM!" was posted). Because I researched it and found that the netbux site was fairly new, I decided to only do it during time when I was already busy (brushing my teeth)so as not to lose any time that I would normally spend doing other things. The only people I talked to about this site were a couple of my freinds, and I also told them to wait until I found out if anyone actually would get paid before signing up(unless they were interested in brushing their teeth and searching as well).
To tell you the truth, I actually profited from this because while I was doing searches, I was brushing my teeth a little longer than usual, which is something I needed to get into the habit of doing. |

What? this is the first post I've made about netbux... how would a "bunch of guys" like me irritate everyone? |

| reply to some guy yeah, I've had jobs that pay more with about the same amount of work. The reasons I initially decided to try netbux were: 1) I only had to give an email adress 2) I didn't have to pay to do it 3) It didn't seem all that great (less than 5 bucks an hour is bellow minimum wage.)
I basically just figured that I would search while brushing my teeth, thus getting paid below minimum wage for something I had been nothing for before (plus it made me brush my teeth a little longer, which was good).
Right now I just waiting for confirmation either way for whether this is a scam or not. until I know, I'm not even going to search while brushing my teeth. |

| reply to xdeadhead I have made 100.00. I tried the first day it came out getting over 100 referrals, they are still fairly active. Now I'm at 100.00 and I do not even search any every day, my referrals do. So, I'm trying to say is this must be a scam because I'm not even trying and im up to 100.00. If it really pays out, this is the best pay site by far. If it doesn't then people know they wasted their money on referrals and they know that it was a scam anyways. I personall beleive it is. Because it's not possible to pay such a fee to searches and at the same time make a decent profit. |

| reply to some guy You got that right. From time to time I mail out post cards for my business to make sure I stay busy (or else my wife starts thinking of things like painting the living room, etc.) I always have my website listed along with my email address and phone. I always ask if they looked up my website. To date 100% have said NO. I find that unbelievable, but that's just me. There IS one born every minute and they are everywhere, and apparently breeding. -- If you can break it,I can fix it.Of course, It'll cost ya' |

It takes a particular brand of dumb to get hooked into these MLM schemes. Usually future spammers... Once people get hooked into these things, it's easier for them to believe that they really will get paid rather than admit that they were scammed. It's the same principle that sucks people deeper and deeper into the 411 scams. -- -Jason Levine http://www.jasons-toolbox.com/ http://www.PCQandA.com/ http://www.urateit.com/ |

don't know what you are doing? find out. ignorance is an excuse for being lazy. with search engines being as easy to use as they are, there is no excuse for ignorance
as for scams, if it's about money for little or no work, it's a scam. period. |
