Mac the ripper is the best Mac DVD ripping tool. There are no freeware resizer right now.  Popcorn is usally rated at the top of the list.

Now the client wants us to send them back copies of the damned DVDs that they gave us.
How 'bout DVD copying software for the Mac? OS X? I need something to copy relatively simple DVDs so I can send the originals back to our client.

P.S. - My office DVD burner is on a Mac, hence my questions in here. I'm a PC guy, so doing this on a Mac is a wee annoying.

If they aren't encrypted, just grab MPEG Streamclip (you'll need the Quicktime MPEG-2 Playback Component, though) and it will rip from VOB on the disc to AIFF in one step. If they are encrypted just use MacTheRipper or similar first. |

I had the same issue, bought it anyway, and ripped some vinyl with it. The only issue is that it doesn't have any editing capabilities.
You might also look at Amadeus II. I liked that one better.

|  Can anyone recommend a freeware DVD audio extractor / ripper for OS X? A client sent me a 27 DVDs that he wants the audio ripped from for his website. Rather a pain.
I tried an unregistered copy of WireTap Pro, but since it won't let me record an un-altered MP4 or MP3 without registering it, I can't gauge how good the audio extraction sounds from a DVD. It overlays the audio I want to record with "unregistered" warnings.
Any suggestions?
