| reply to spm9999 Re: [SunRocket] Question about SR voicemail?
But that would make too much sense for SR tech. So they decided NOT to implement it. Just tested with my SR line. Disconnected power to the gizmo. Tried to call my SR# from cell/land line. I got the busy signal after ~20seconds silence. Hooked the power back, everything back to normal. I don't know what the heck are they smoking at SR. Everyone knows that voip is not as reliable as POTS, I thought this feature is a must have in case your power or your internet connection goes down. Has anyone else tested their SR line?

| Strange. Very Strange. With the gizmo disconnected it forwards to the forward # if I have it programmed to. Otherwise it goes to Voice Mail. How long did you have the gizmo disconnected for? It may take a couple of minutes for their server to realize that you are off line. I do not know. With the gizmo on line; Does your Voice Mail pick up if you don't answer your Sunrocket line? |

| ok, here's a potential solution: (worked for me )
1. With the Gizmo unplugged, make some calls; if they show as "missed calls" on the Sunrocket Website, then goto step 2. Otherwise, call Sunrocket tech support and open a ticket.
2. Delete all voicemail boxes, and recreate them. This solved the problem for me. Now, calls to an unplugged Gizmo go to Voivemail . |

That makes sense. I have never done the original activation of voice mail from the phone, and my # forwards correctly and VM answers. This is a big issue for SR to take care of. I'm glad that we never did the original voice mail set up. |

Still have the same problem after delete/recreate mail boxes. I have to call SR today. hdp. |
