Hi there, Through my Network Connections Viewer I've found the above mentioned issue in my Open TCP Connections. Network Viewer says itis a system process and its connection state is (as far as I notice) always Time_Wait. Now, wonder what a hell is this?? If itis something bad then how can I terminate it?? None of the anti-spyware Prog's detects anything. I mean, Spybot, Spy sweeper, Ad-aware. Thanks in advance for your help. |

| reply to zigzagpt i believe spybot put an entry "127.0.0.1 babe.the-killer.bz" into your hosts file as part of its immunization. If you look in your hosts file, you will see 127.0.0.1 babe.the-killer.bz after the line "# Start of entries inserted by Spybot - Search & Destroy". There should be many more lists of 127.0.0.1 following that. when u do a netstat, the system translates 127.0.0.1 using the hosts file, and automatically used the first line, which is babe.the-killer.bz. i dun think anything harmful is happening to ur system just add "127.0.0.1 localhost" above the babe.the-killer.bz line. ur netstat should show localhost after that. cheers! |

| reply to zigzagpt Is there any way to get netstat to stop long enough to see what's there please?
It just blinks and is gone.
Is there some switch or command that I'm missing here?
Thanks for any help.

Start/Run - command then type netstat in the command window. |

Is there any switches you like to use, now that I am not such a dim bird any longer? -- Oh, I love the smell of fish. Guts, rotten, it's all good. |
