If you're speeding, you're guilty. Pay up, Sucka!
Hey, I'm in the process of fighting a parking ticket which I more than deserved to get, just because I hate Bloomberg with passion.

Now flame away!

No speed limit on the AutoBahn, few accidents. Speeding Tickets are for revenue gathering purposes only, regardless of how much police cry about safe driving.

germany also uses an enforced policy of "drive right" i believe it's called. it means when you aren't passing you move to the right lane and stay there. when's the last time you saw *that* on a us road?

they also enforce that policy with tickets from what i remember...... that means no more dawdling in the left lane for your grandparents, etc.

the speed limit was also somewhat instituted with the idea of saving gas in mind, it has risen since then, but you get the drift......

as far as the actual topic, i'm kind of sick of it. i wish all the aa's would find some place to curl up and die. they really haven't solved anything or even made a dent from what i've seen, and all this is managing to do probably is increase the prices. so when no one will buy the $50 cd because riaa had to use the extra money to pay lawyers and hackers and whoever the else...... just my 2 cents, it's a never ending spiral that i can't see the aa's winning.

and yes, they also employ hackers of a sort. they employ companies to send fake files over the internet named as other files. i have also been scanned by them repeatedly when i used to download, there's programs now to detect that. i have even heard rumors that they might send out some of their own files in a form of entrapment, altho i haven't seen this personally. there was even the case of kazaa sueing riaa for using an unauthorized copy of their software to obtain people names to sue. (kazaa lite)

so i guess the end *does* justify the means. you'd be screwed for scanning them i bet, but it's ok for them to do it to you because they can afford lawyers?
